TWIN CITIES INTERIOR DESIGN STUDIO
Interior Design for Remodels + Whole Homes
Thoughtful design. Beautifully considered. Made for the way you live.
Form Designs creates cohesive, highly considered interiors for homeowners throughout the Twin Cities. From space planning and cabinetry to materials, lighting, furnishings and the details that bring everything together, we help you make confident design decisions from the beginning.
Serving Minneapolis, the Twin Cities and surrounding communities.
A successful remodel is about more than choosing beautiful tile, lighting and furniture. It begins with understanding how you live, how your home should function and how each decision affects the next.
At Form Designs, we bring thoughtful interior design and practical construction knowledge together—considering the layout, cabinetry, architectural details, materials, lighting and furnishings as parts of one cohesive vision.
The result is a home that doesn't simply look beautiful. It feels intentional, personal and considered down to the details.
More Than Beautiful
A well-designed home starts long before the finishes are selected.
Thoughtful spaces. Layered materials. Details that belong together.
HOW WE CAN HELP
Thoughtful design from the big decisions to the smallest details.
01
Whole Home Design
Create a cohesive vision that carries naturally from one space to the next. We consider layouts, materials, lighting, cabinetry, furnishings and architectural details together so your home feels collected rather than pieced together.
02
Remodel Design
Make important design decisions before construction begins. We help establish layouts, materials, cabinetry, fixtures, lighting and details while keeping the larger vision of your home in focus.
03
Kitchen & Bath Design
Thoughtful kitchens and bathrooms begin with function. We consider how the space works first, then layer cabinetry, surfaces, fixtures, lighting, hardware and materials into a cohesive design.
04
Space Planning + Visualization
See the possibilities before construction begins. Floor plans, elevations and 3D visualization help clarify scale, proportion, layout and design decisions before they become expensive changes in the field.
Design Beyond the Finishes.
Beautiful materials matter.
But so do proportions. Sight lines. Cabinet dimensions. Lighting placement. Transitions. Furniture scale. Construction details. And the hundreds of small decisions that determine whether a home ultimately feels right.
With a background rooted in both design and construction, Form Designs approaches a project with an understanding of how beautiful ideas translate into real spaces.
We think beyond individual selections to consider how the entire home comes together—helping you anticipate decisions, communicate the design clearly and move into construction with greater confidence.
The Details Matter
The best rooms don't feel decorated. They feel considered.
Natural materials. Layered neutrals. Warm woods. Collected pieces. Thoughtful architectural details.
We create homes that feel elevated without feeling untouchable—spaces designed to age beautifully, function naturally and feel distinctly yours.

MEET THE DESIGNER
A love of beautiful homes. An understanding of how they’re built.
Growing up around construction gave Mindy Nelson an appreciation for craftsmanship long before Form Designs existed. That hands-on understanding, combined with technical drawing and interior design experience, shapes the way she approaches every project today.
Her philosophy is simple: a beautiful home shouldn’t simply reflect a designer’s aesthetic. It should feel distinctly like the people who live there.
